The Ringling Art Library maintains a growing collection of nearly 90,000 volumes, active subscriptions to 100+ art periodicals, past periodicals bound for research convenience, & a spacious reading room. We provide reference for art-related research. The art library is open Monday-Friday 1-5pm. If you are unable to visit us, we hope you make use of our digital library hosted here on ContentDM.

 

 

Notice and Takedown Policy

If you are a rights holder and are concerned that you have found material on our website, for which you have not given permission, or is not covered by a limitation or exception in national law, please contact us in writing stating the following: Your contact details, details or description of the material, the exact and full url where you found the material and proof that you are the rights holder and a statement that, under penalty of perjury, you are the rights holder or are an authorized representative.

Upon receipt of notification the ‘Notice and Takedown’ procedure is then invoked as follows:

 

1. The Ringling Museum will acknowledge receipt of your complaint by email or letter and will make an initial assessment of the complaint.

 

 

2. Upon receipt of a valid complaint the material will be temporarily removed from the RMA website pending an agreed solution.

 

 

3. If the contributor and the complainant are unable to agree to a solution, the material will remain unavailable through the RMA web site until a time when a resolution has been reached.
